single camera production notes

Single camera production -
- uses camera out on location
- only one camera used for entire production
- due to long production, one camera is used due to expense.
- better performance
- location (easier to set up)
- crew (less crew on single camera production, more effective)

Formats
- serial (only a few parts to it)
- series (numerous episodes, continuous)
- one-off (films)
- genre (comedy,horror etc)
- linear (when the story flows from beginning to end)
- non linear (doesn't flow from story to end)
- flashback (reveals back story,exposition)
- realist (realistic, real world stories)
- anti real (non realistic, non realistic stories)
- ending,open/closed (cliffhanger,unanswered questions or a resolution,closed)
