Focus Group
Alex - 'Its abit short, and the advert does not explain 4G in much detail. Although the concept and soundtracks used fit the video well'
Connor - 'I agree its short but there is a comical angle to the video which makes it amusing and entertaining to watch. The idea shows 4G is higher than 3G and thats the whole point. To improve i think it could be longer and edited better'
Callum - 'The video is amusing and shows the difference between 3G/4G. Strength was spelt wrong in the video and there was not much time to read the text before it disappeared off screen. To improve i would spend more time editing although the video is good'
Josh - 'I agree with the statements above, the video could of been longer and executed better. Although the amusing side makes up for this'
Evaluation
I think during this project i have learnt how time is vital in the overall quality of the video. We should have managed our time better and more effectively to make a better advertisement. We also should of executed our ideas better instead of worrying at last minute what we can do to improve our ad. Although our concept was good we could of taken the time to review the editing as we made a spelling mistake and the timing wasn't great. I have also learnt editing techniques and other ways to use cameras which was a positive outcome. Our video didn't capture enough shots, this was due to our group hoping to make the advert quick,simple but effective. Although this worked to a reasonable level, we could of taken more time to improve on this side of our project. Therefore i have learnt many things both positive and negative which will help me improve and better my projects in the future.

This evaluation does not fulfil the requirements of the assignment brief. There is no evidence of any focus group taking place and therefore no reference to feedback is mentioned during the commentary. Within the commentary you discuss specific mise-en-scene and your intention for using this mise-en-scene. You never actually state if this was affective or not. Likewise there is no discussion on the technical aspects of the production. The brief also asks you to conclude the video commentary discussing what lessons you have learned and how this experience has impacted on you as a media producer - this is also missing.
